Lollipop Rain

Last week, on the rainy drive to school:

“Those guys are dancing, Daddy.”

“Who’s dancing?”

“Those guys. There.”

“Where? Outside?”

“No. The wipers.”

“Oh. The windshield wipers are dancing.”

“Yeah.”

“You’re right. They are. They’re dancing.”

“I wish there would be a lollipop rain.”

“You wish it would rain lollipops? That would be cool.”

“Green lollipops. It would rain and then I could eat some.”
